The Fines Hardship Review Board is an independent body established under the
Fines Act 1996
and is separate from Revenue NSW. The Board was established to review decisions made by Revenue NSW in very specific instances. You can only apply to the Fines Hardship Review Board if you have received an overdue fine and Revenue NSW has:
refused an application to pay your fine(s) by instalment or assessed it at a higher rate;
refused an application to have the relevant overdue fine(s) written off; or
refused an application to issue or vary a work and development order.
Based on your response, your case is not eligible for review by the Fines Hardship Review Board because Revenue NSW has not refused one of the above applications.
